Everyone has an opinion, but what does The Word of God say?!

First Note! Money is not the problem!
1 Timothy 6:10
For the love of money is a root of all kinds of evil, for which some have strayed from the faith in their greediness, and pierced themselves through with many sorrows.
The PROBLEM is "THE LOVE OF MONEY"!
Second Note! We all need money!

Ecclesiastes 10:19
A feast is made for merriment and wine gives joy to the living,
but money answers for everything.
What does this Scripture say? think of it in this way, what can you and I do without money in this world? Can you buy a house, a car, food, clothing, etc? No! We do need money...
Third Note! Money can snare you!

1 Timothy 6:9-10
But those who desire to be rich fall into temptation, into a snare, into many senseless and harmful desires that plunge people into ruin and destruction. For the love of money is a root of all kinds of evils.
Again see the danger: "Those who desire to be rich"!
Why is this so?
Fourth Note! The Real Problem is in The Heart!

Jeremiah 17:9
“The heart is deceitful above all things, And desperately wicked; Who can know it?
James 1: 12-17
Blessed is the man who endures temptation; for when he has been approved, he will receive the crown of life which the Lord has promised to those who love Him. Let no one say when he is tempted, “I am tempted by God”; for God cannot be tempted by evil, nor does He Himself tempt anyone. But each one is tempted when he is drawn away by his own desires and enticed. Then, when desire has conceived, it gives birth to sin; and sin, when it is full-grown, brings forth death. Do not be deceived, my beloved brethren. Every good gift and every perfect gift is from above, and comes down from the Father of lights, with whom there is no variation or shadow of turning.
Therefore always check the motives!
What about a desire to "Become Great"?!

Learn from the best: Jesus!
Mark 10: 17-18
Now as He was going out on the road, one came running, knelt before Him, and asked Him, “Good Teacher, what shall I do that I may inherit eternal life?” So Jesus said to him, “Why do you call Me good? No one is good but One, that is, God.
We know Jesus never sinned, so why would He not even want to be called "good"! Because Jesus knew the dangers of the praises of people and the desires of human flesh!
The desire for greatness and fame is a desire for this world and it is dangerous!
1 John 2: 15-16
Do not love the world or the things in the world. If anyone loves the world, the love of the Father is not in him. For all that is in the world—the lust of the flesh, the lust of the eyes, and the pride of life—is not of the Father but is of the world.
