For many there is an open door but they cannot go through yet for the doorkeeper would not allow them!
John 10
1 “Most assuredly, I say to you, he who does not enter the sheepfold by the door, but climbs up some other way, the same is a thief and a robber. 2 But he who enters by the door is the shepherd of the sheep. 3 To him the doorkeeper opens, and the sheep hear his voice; and he calls his own sheep by name and leads them out. 4 And when he brings out his own sheep, he goes before them; and the sheep follow him, for they know his voice. 5 Yet they will by no means follow a stranger, but will flee from him, for they do not know the voice of strangers.” 6 Jesus used this illustration, but they did not understand the things which He spoke to them.
In the is parable that Jesus taught we see the principle of the "doorkeeper"! The doorkeeper determines who can go through and when they can go trough!

What prevents us from going through?
The number one thing is sin!
Micah 3:4
Then they will cry out to the Lord, But He will not answer them. Instead, He will hide His face from them at that time Because they have practised evil deeds.
Isaiah 59:2
But your iniquities have made a separation between you and your God, And your sins have hidden His face from you so that He does not hear.
1 Corinthians 15:17
and if Christ has not been raised, your faith is worthless; you are still in your sins.
God timing!
Often we are too hasty. We want it to be done here and now, however God's timing is always best! He sees where we do not sees, including the pitfalls and traps of Satan we might fall into!

Conclusion
Make sure this day that there is no sin that will cause the doorkeeper to stop you from entering. If there there is, confess it, repent thereof and ask God to forgive you (1 John 1: 9).

Amen!
May we enter through!
