The Power of Unity and Agreement

What does the Word of God say:

Psalm 133: 1,3

“How good and pleasant it is when God’s people live together in unity! It is as if the dew of Hermon were falling on Mount Zion. For there the Lord bestows his blessing, even life forevermore.”

Matthew 18:19

“Again I say unto you, that if two of you shall agree on earth concerning anything that they shall ask, it shall be done for them by My Father who is in Heaven.”

The power of Scripture

God's Word is not the words of a man it is God's Word spoken or written through a man. If it was the words of men you can dispute it and it will never last forever. However it is the Word of God and van be trusted - It will stand for the ages!

Hebrews 13:8

Jesus Christ is the same yesterday and today and forever

Conclusion

Scripture makes it so clear that where there is unity it is a pleasant environment where God commands a blessing! When people agree (in line with God's Word) here on earth

then God will do it for them!

But take note of the following Scripture

James 4: 3

When you ask, you do not receive, because you ask with wrong motives, that you may spend what you get on your pleasures. You adulterous people, don't you know that friendship with the world means enmity against God?

When you ask for something, let there be in unity and agreement and let it not be for wrong motives. And let it be line with God's Word, and you will see what God will do (in his way and time!
