Your Testimony Matters

If you are a Christian you have a testimony to tell and somewhere someone is in need of it. We are not saved for yourselves. We are saved to have an effect on those arround us. We carry a witness by our living testimony (the way we act and behave) and the words of our confession!

It is Power to overcome:

Revelation 12: 11

"And they overcame him by the blood of the Lamb and by the word of their testimony"

Your testimony gives you power to overcome when the challanges come! Remember David when he was about to face Goliath. Consider his testimony (declaration of faith) to king Saul: "The LORD who rescued me from the paw of the lion and the paw of the bear will rescue me from the hand of this Philistine.” - 1 Samuel 17:35: "The LORD who rescued me from the paw of the lion and the paw of the bear will rescue me from the hand of this"

It build the faith of others:

Romans 10:14-15, 17

"How then shall they call on Him in whom they have not believed? And how shall they believe in Him of whom they have not heard? And how shall they hear without a preacher? And how shall they preach unless they are sent? So faith comes from hearing, and hearing through the word of Christ.”

1 John 1:2-3

“This life was revealed to us, and we have seen it and testify about it. We declare to you this eternal life that was with the Father and was revealed to us. What we have seen and heard we declare to you so that you, too, can have fellowship with us."
