Financial giving can be divided into tithes, offerings, thanksgiving & seed of faith.   The Word of God teaches us to bring our tithe to the house of God; which is ten percent of our income.   An offering will be anything above the tithe you desire to give.   Thanksgiving will be a gift of appreciation for something God has done for you through the ministry, for example, a breakthrough, healing, deliverance, etc!   A seed of faith is an amount pressed by The Holy Spirit on your heart (it is never an obligation nor something being pressured into).   A seed of faith (when done in The Spirit and in faith has the power to produce a great harvest.
